MobilityRx – Assisted Stretch Therapy:

What is MobilityRx?

MobilityRx is a one-on-one assisted stretch session designed to improve flexibility, reduce tightness, and
restore movement. A trained Mobility Coach safely guides your body through specific stretches to help you move and feel better.

How is assisted stretching different from stretching at home?

When you stretch on your own, you can only go as far as your body allows — and it’s easy to use poor form or miss key areas. Assisted stretching helps you reach a deeper, safer stretch while targeting the muscle groups that often get overlooked.

Who can benefit from MobilityRx?

Anyone wanting to move and feel better — from athletes and active adults to those managing stiffness, arthritis, or postural tightness.

Can MobilityRx help with chronic pain or arthritis?

Yes. Gentle, assisted stretching improves joint motion, increases circulation, and reduces stiffness that contributes to pain and inflammation.

Is it safe for people with joint replacements or spinal issues?

Yes. Every session is personalized. Our Mobility Coaches adapt techniques for joint replacements, back pain, or prior injuries to keep you comfortable and safe.

Can MobilityRx help while I’m in physical therapy or after surgery?

Yes. It’s often used after (or between) PT visits to maintain flexibility, reduce muscle tightness, and continue progress once therapy ends. Your therapist can advise when to start.

Can I use LightRx or ThermaLuxeRx with MobilityRx?

Absolutely. While these are separate sessions, combining them enhances results. LightRx or ThermaLuxeRx helps warm muscles before stretching and soothe soreness after sessions.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, flexible clothing such as leggings or athletic shorts. You’ll remain fully clothed and move easily throughout the session.

How long are sessions?

Each session is about 30 minutes, focusing on full-body or specific areas.

How soon will I feel results?

Most people feel looser and more mobile after just one session. Continued visits lead to lasting flexibility and postural balance.

LightRx – Red-Light Therapy:

What is LightRx?

LightRx uses advanced red and near-infrared light to help your body heal, reduce inflammation, and recover naturally. These wavelengths are the same safe, restorative light found in sunlight — without UV or heat.

How does it work?

Red-light therapy targets the mitochondria — the 'power plants' of your cells. When stimulated by specific light wavelengths, mitochondria produce more ATP (cellular energy), accelerating tissue repair and enhancing muscle performance.

What wavelengths does LightRx use?

LightRx uses a combination of red (630–660 nm) and near-infrared (810–1060 nm) light delivered through PlatinumLED BioMax Pro panels for deep tissue recovery, circulation, and inflammation reduction.

Do I need to wear eye protection?

Eye protection is optional. Most patients comfortably close their eyes during treatment. Goggles are available for those with light sensitivity or recent eye surgery.

Can LightRx help with skin health or collagen production?

Yes. Red wavelengths naturally stimulate collagen and elastin, helping improve skin tone, firmness, and overall complexion.

Can LightRx help with arthritis, injury, or inflammation?

Yes. Red and near-infrared light penetrate deeply to reduce inflammation and promote healing in muscles, joints, and connective tissue — helpful for arthritis, tendinitis, and chronic pain.

How long and how often?

Sessions last 10–20 minutes. Most patients benefit from 2–3 sessions per week for consistent recovery and wellness support.

ThermaLuxeRx – Infrared Sauna:

What is ThermaLuxeRx?

ThermaLuxeRx features the Sunlighten mPulse full-spectrum infrared sauna, which combines gentle heat and light to promote relaxation, detoxification, and recovery.

What makes the Sunlighten mPulse different from a regular sauna?

Traditional saunas heat the air first; infrared saunas warm your body directly. This allows lower air temperatures (110–140°F) while still delivering deep, therapeutic heat that’s more comfortable and effective for recovery.

What are the key benefits?

Relieves pain, improves circulation, enhances relaxation, supports detoxification, and complements LightRx and MobilityRx sessions.

Can it help with sleep or stress?

Yes. The infrared heat helps your body release endorphins, calm the nervous system, and improve overall sleep quality and relaxation.

What should I know before my session?

Stay well-hydrated before and after your visit. A clean towel is provided for every appointment. Wear lightweight or minimal clothing for comfort.

How long and how often?

Sessions last 30 minutes. Most patients benefit from 2–4 sessions weekly for recovery, relaxation, and cardiovascular support.

General Questions:

Can I book multiple services together?

Yes. Packages like Rehab Platinum, RestoreRx, and PeakRx combine MobilityRx, LightRx, and ThermaLuxeRx for full-body wellness.

Can I use these if I’m not in pain?

Absolutely. Many use them proactively for flexibility, recovery, and stress relief.

Are these covered by insurance?

No, these are self-pay wellness services designed to complement traditional care.

How do I schedule?

Call 252-966-0077 or visit 405 E Main Street, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.

What are Light and Heat Waves?

Light and heat are measured in wavelengths — like waves in the ocean. Red and near-infrared light are shorter wavelengths that help cells repair and boost energy, while mid- and far-infrared heat are longer and provide deep warmth and circulation benefit
